OEMs come to us because we do NOT operate with the antiquated manufacturing processes that cause companies to be frustrated meeting their project deadlines on time and within budget. Below is a typical process customers experience before discovering the INTA way.
- OEM develops a new design and sends it to a machine shop or ceramic sub-vendor for manufacturing.
- They source materials and add a 20%-30% to the price without a high-volume supply chain pricing advantage.
- Parts are sent to a sub-vendor for metallization; plus more pass-through price hikes.
- They are then sent back to the company for inspection and sent to a plating sub-vendor; price and lead-times increase again.
- Parts ship back to customer for inspection then to a brazing sub-vendor and back to the customer for final inspection.
- Along the way, vulnerability to errors, damage during shipping and more cause further delays and costs.
